Are you a singer/songwriter who wants to record some of your stuff?

I may have the solution for you. I'm also a singer/songwriter, and I play piano as well as some guitar and drums. Basically, I have a studio where I can take your song and make it sound the way you want it. Typically, I can do most of the music myself, but sometimes we might have to call in other musicians depending on what you want, and in that case you'd have to decide whether you are willing to pay their price or not.

Whatever you want, I'll make a track that you like and record you singing over it. All the music on this site I played, engineered, and produced myself, so it's something I've done a lot of.

I graduated from Belmont University with a music degree in 1996, and I've been making music ever since. I'd love to help you make your music into something you can share with others. I have the tools to burn images onto a disc for you as well. It's called "Lightscribe," and it looks professional, I think. However, if you wanted to go a more professional route and professionally package your cd's, I can help you with that too. I have a graphic artist I work with, and a company I like to use for that sort of thing.

I use Sonar Producer X1 for most of the actual recording (you might be interested in that if you're into recording software), and I have keyboards and an electronic drum kit. I can emulate a nice bass sound without calling in a bass player. I also use several other programs, such as Reason, Fruity Loops, Native Instruments, etc. to create the sound you need for your songs.

My main areas of expertise style-wise would be soft rock, folk, country, gospel, and other similar styles. I'm not as well-versed in electronic music, but I do have the tools to make that type of music as well.

I charge $35/hr for any work I do with you or for you in my studio, and anything you want to do on top of that (call in other musicians, graphic artists, cd production companies) will depend on their prices.

I look forward to working with you.
